Kenya K. Stevens was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1974. She was raised "on stage" having received technical dance training
at her parent's thriving dance facility (MBS Training Center) for over 15 years. Her loving father taught her jazz, politics and
poetry as a child. Some of her favorites were John Coltrane, Kahlil Gibran and Shakespeare. As a teen, Kenya excelled at the classical cello and went on to do very well in many metro Detroit youth orchestras. She graduated from a high school for the talented and gifted called Roeper City and Country in Birmingham, Michigan. There she excelled in the Model United Nations and Debate Club. Kenya attended Howard University in Washington DC where she majored in English and Education. In her spare time she played the upright bass in an all female band called Soul Food Symphony. She graduated from Howard in 1997 with a degree in Education. Upon graduating she met and married a fellow "Howardite"- Carl Stevens and began her career as a teacher. Kenya began to work and study with an advanced group of meta physicians in Washington DC called the Ausar Auset Society. She became a teacher then assistant director at a school for the children of these awesome practitioners. For ten years, she was formally and expertly trained in yoga, breathing, meditation, trance, ceremony making, Feng Shui and metaphysical thought. After years of study, she received a special name - Hakashamut - which means She Who Comes To Know Unity. During the time of her initiation she actually had to utilize her newly developed spiritual skills to heal a deadly form of Cancer she was diagnosed with in 1998 after the birth of her first son. She succeeded by using the power of meditation, trance and visualization, and community. She began to realize that psycho-spiritual "service" and healing was her true passion. The Cancer had been a blessing in disguise. Since that time, Kenya has supported many others in creating better relationships, achieving desires and healing illnesses. She has achieved incredible results using a variety of natural practices, as well as applying the Law of Attraction to heal and to create anew. In 2006 Kenya moved from DC to Atlanta, Georgia. She started JujuMama in order to affix an official label and LLC to what she has done for 10 years. In her practice, she creatively combines her training in fine arts, and her initiation into the metaphysical sciences. As well, she incorporates her experience as a wife of 11 years and mother of three to shower her clients with wisdom, encouragement, love and inspiration. Kenya's basic premise is that "Anything is Possible". She has accomplished much and lives a very fulfilled life. JujuMama is her way of joyfully sharing her passion and high energy with others. JujuMama supports classy and chic, professional and celebrity, sassy and sophisticated women - Modern Day Goddesses! We also support chic and savvy men who are ready to live in a state of Bliss with recognition of both the Yin and Yang in life. This is accomplished by APPLYING Self-As-Source technology to create a balanced life. Kenya is currently giving national and international workshops, ceremonial circles, Goddess Parties, personal healing sessions, JujuMama Certification classes and phone consultations. Her Prescription for Manifestation is currently her most popular service. Kenya and her husband Carl plan to expand the practice and reach as many men and women as possible ushering in a new paradigm that holds as it's major premise that we are all creating our lives and, as such, can be empowered to create whatever the mind can conceive and believe...
